Tye A. Reiman
Tye grew up on a farm in Northwest Iowa near the small town of Ayrshire and worked extremely hard to get to this point in his career despite facing many obstacles. Before law school he worked in nearly every section of service from pig barns to nursing homes to sales to banking and all the way to the Iowa Capitol. Tye truly understands what it means to serve consumers and what good faith practices look like at every stage of that service.
Tye has also seen every branch of the Iowa government in motion between his work in the Polk County Judiciary as a Law Clerk, assisting attorneys at the Iowa Attorney General's Office, and working at the Iowa Senate for the 2022 session as one of the Sergeant-at-Arms and as Bill Clerk. In the courts, Tye learned directly alongside Judges, learning how they think about the cases before them and ultimately make their decisions. While at the Attorney General's Office, Tye assisted Tom Miller’s team on complex litigation involving unfair contracts, unjust student tuition and loan costs, and completing work for the state against the tobacco industry and for antitrust in the meat industry. At the Iowa Senate and Iowa Insurance Division, Tye built connections with industry leaders, lobbyists, and legislators from across the state and beyond. We hope to be able to leverage these relationships to champion new laws that establish a better trust in the Iowa economy as we hear your stories and issues that deserve stronger remedies for you, while establishing stricter penalties for bad actors who make consumers lose faith in their economy.
Tye started Consumer Law Office, LLC in hopes to serve his community by taking on the industry giants hurting the consumers across his home state. Under his leadership, we believe that in protecting consumers, we not only help people out of these unjust situations, but also instill confidence in the marketplace by showing customers that the law has their back against unfair contracts and collection practices.
